JOB DESCRIPTION :

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ƒBachelor's Degree in social sciences or related field from recognized university,
  • ƒMinimum 3 years’ relevant work experience, especially in training manual development on labor standards and delivery,
  • ƒExperience in development and delivering the technical support that assists producers in coming into compliance with the Standard,
  • ƒGood understanding and well aware on child labor prevention and rehabilitation policies/instruments,
  • Good interpersonal communications, negotiation and influencing skills, computer proficiency & good in written and spoken English and Nepali languages.
  • Based in Kathmandu valley with frequent travel to program districts.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :

This position is responsible to plan, manage and coordinate the training activities under Better Brick Nepal (BBN) Program implemented by NGF in the brick sector.
Duration: Two years (Initially 6 month)
Age: 25‐40 years

Job Responsibilities:  

  • ƒWork in close coordination with partner organizations and concerned consultants for developing and localizing the contents/modules of training required in brick and carpet sector for its socially responsible production process,
  • ƒTechnical support to develop and deliver the workers awareness materials,Organize, facilitate and deliver the trainings to the target groups associated with brick sector understanding their various aspects (social, education level, language, age and others)

  • Develop and deliver technical support that meets producer needs and assists them in coming into compliance with the Standard,
  • ƒDevelop methodology to document how technical support improves businesses practices and efficiencies and prepare written reports documenting achievements over time,

  • Regular coordination with focal organizations and reporting to Programme Manager
